Our customer base includes – the automotive industry in the UK and Europe, construction industry, electrical, electronics, and general engineering companies. We offer a design function using I-DEAS and DELCAM engineering design tools. We can design your products in conjunction with your engineers, produce samples or prototypes for approval and supply your bulk requirements. With manufacturing cost ever increasing in the U-K more and more companies are looking at bringing products from India and the Far East in particular. Many companies have tried to do this themselves and failed, mainly because of the communication problems, and not having competent suppliers.

Asco Fixings has a very strong supplier base that has been established over a long period. We have partners based in Shanghai and Taipei; these partners look after all the Far East operations. All the companies used by Asco Fixings have a minimum of ISO 9001 accreditation and are quality audited by Asco Fixings personnel at regular visits. When Asco Fixings take on a new project, one of our engineers personally visits the company to approve the quality systems and procedures.

The Far East has now become very technically adept for Asco Fixings to deal with complex parts; we are now bringing in many different components all with excellent quality. Asco Fixings has a unique relationship with India; we have our own joint venture with a company in North India. This company is a major supplier of special fasteners to the automotive industry in India; they also manufacture industrial fasteners, construction fasteners, special fasteners including stainless steel fasteners and brass fasteners. They also manufacture precision turned parts, precision pressings and fabrications.

Other partnerships in India include a company which produce high precision Investment Castings, using the lost wax method, Pressure Die Castings, Injection Mouldings, Plastic and Ceramics Asco Fixings also have 2d and 3d design facilities; designs are produced here in the UK then passed to India to produce the mould or tooling. Asco Fixings is a UK company that can liase with your design engineer’s produce a drawing for approval and produce the tooling for your own use, or produce the components as well, Asco Fixings can also offer prototypes. Again this is what makes Asco Fixings unique, we are not just an importing company we offer the total package.
