Investment Castings using the lost wax process is far more cost effective than if parts where produced by fabrication.

Pressure Die Castings - top

There are three main types of die casting: high pressure die casting, low pressure casting and gravity die casting. High pressure die casting is the most commonly used process, in which molten aluminium is injected at high pressure into a metal mould by a hydraulically powered piston. The machinery needed for the process is very costly and therefore high pressure die casting is only normally economic when used for high volume production. Injection moulding is a manufacturing technique for making parts from plastic material. Molten plastic is injected at high pressure into a mould, which is the inverse of the finished shape. When the design is agreed Asco Fixing can manufacture the tooling and supply first off samples for your approval. Asco Fixings can then supply you the tooling or if you required we can produce your bulk requirements. Asco Fixings will produce prototypes so your engineers can prove their designs.

Pressed Parts - top

Asco Fixings currently supply precision press parts to major UK companies; Asco Fixings also supply parts to commercial tolerances, to the construction industry in all available finishes and materials.

Precision Turned Parts - top

Asco Fixings supply precision turned components to the UK and Europe for the automotive industry and general engineering trade. Asco Fixing can supply in all the usual materials such as mild steel, carbon steel, brass copper and produce in any finish the customer requires. We can produce small batches of prototypes if required.

Fabrications - top

Asco Fixings supply a vast range of fabrication to a major chain of DIY stores, these can be very simple fabrications to very complex custom made fabrications, the fabrications can be supplied self-colour, galvanised or powder coated to customer requirements. Asco Fixings also supply fabricated mesh fencing panels, the fencing panels are powder coated, and the coating on the fencing panels is tested to1000 hours salt spray requirements.

Tubing - top

Asco Fixings supply tubing in vast quantities to a major automotive company in Europe. This tubing is custom made to exact lengths and has various forms pierced in them. The tubing must be straight to very exact tolerances, there can be no sharp edges or burrs on the tubing and every piece of tubing must be supplied 100% defect free.

Storage Racking / Shelving - top

We have a large range of pallet racking available; this pallet racking can be supplied direct or fitted by Asco Fixings to your requirements. Asco Fixings can measure your warehouse and advise what your requirements are.
Asco Fixings also supply shelving to a 1st tier distributor who supplies most of the major Super Market chains with shelving in the UK. The shelving is supplied mainly in white but can be custom made to your requirements.
